The Help Desk maintains a small inventory of loaner computers for special use by employees. These computers are reserved for the following needs:
- For use when an employee's primary computer is being repaired
- For use at a conference or seminar if employee's primary computer is not a laptop
- Other college-related work as approved by the IT Department, provided systems are available
Since our loaner fleet is limited, these systems will not be issued for work at home, non-college related activities, use by guests, or use by adjunct/part-time faculty. Requests for loaners must be submitted to the Help Desk at least 1 week in advance so that our staff can check on availability and schedule setup/checkout. Computers issued due to repairs on primary system will not require advance notice.
