Many services provided by Greenville College require a college-issued photo ID card.

Greenville College ID cards also act as "proximity cards."  Proximity cards have components embedded in the card that allow recognition by electronic readers placed near selected doors on campus (EDAC- Electronic Door Access Control). Each proximity card carries a unique code that is read by the readers. 

The Greenville College Office of Safety and Security now handles all aspects of ID cards, including taking pictures, printing IDs, and granting EDAC Access (door access).
